Eliesha Grant (she/her), is a multidisciplinary artist. Drawn to incongruous unions of both concept and materials, she often works on projects that include photography, printmaking. painting, installation art, etc.. to unite and ignite positive change and action. Grant draws inspiration from the explicit and mundane. She has the ability to resist cynicism in her (often irreverent) social commentary.

Grant earned her BA in English Literature with an Art minor at Guilford College, NC, 1993.  In 2015 she went back to school to learn digital imaging, and received an AS in Photography and Printmaking from SUNY NCC. In 2019, she received a Masters of Fine Arts in Studio Art, concentrations in Photography and Printmaking  from CUNY Queens College

Grant has been co-curating Cheap Art Parties in Brooklyn, LES, East Village, Port Washington, and Hudson, NY starting in 1995 in Atlanta. These events are based on the Bread and Puppet's Cheap Art Manifesto.

Eliesha continues doing commissions and freelance work, curating shows, participating in art projects, exhibits, and community volunteering.
